What is LOVE Boutique?

LOVE Boutique is a collection of discoveries that, when brought together, paint what I believe to be a cohesive picture of the gospel message of salvation.

After years of studying Scripture and asking one simple question—What is the true message of salvation?—I wanted to share what I found. It's not a sermon, but a sharing, and an invitation to explore the good news for yourself.

 

Why "Safe • Secure • Adult Shopping"?

The idea began when I noticed the word LOVE being spelled with a U instead of an O. I smiled and thought, "Why not put the O back in LOVE?"
The cover is simply a playful misdirection. It embraces the identity and purpose of a coffee-table book. If it sparks enough curiosity for someone to open the book and discover its message, then it has served its purpose.

 

Is this a book about religion?

Not really.
For me, it's about a relationship with Jesus Christ. One lesson I've learned is that a book report on the Bible is one book report none of us should let someone else write for us. Open the Bible, read it for yourself, and decide what it says. If you're not sure where to begin, I recommend the Gospel of John as a preface. 

 

Is this a novel?

No. I wouldn't even consider myself an author.

These are discoveries I became so passionate about that I felt compelled to organize and share them. I didn't write this because I wanted to write a book. I wrote it because I wanted to share the good news with the people I care about.

My hope is that what encouraged and excited me will do the same for you.

 

Do I need to know the Bible to enjoy it?

I don't believe so.

While readers with a biblical background may appreciate some of the deeper connections, many of the discoveries require nothing more than curiosity and common sense. Whether you're opening a Bible for the first time or have been reading it for years, my hope is you'll find something that makes you stop, think, and look a little closer.

 

What makes LOVE Boutique different?

Perspective. 

My perspective wasn't formed only by studying Scripture. Long before that, it was shaped through experiences in business, courtrooms, and legislative matters where I saw firsthand how a single word could profoundly impact the outcome. Sometimes success or failure hinged on a single carefully chosen word. Those experiences taught me to slow down and pay close attention to language. They convinced me that words matter—not only because they communicate ideas, but because a single word can determine an outcome. When I later began studying Scripture, I found myself approaching it the same way. Rather than assuming what a passage meant, I wanted to let every word speak for itself. That perspective shaped this book. My hope is simply to encourage readers to slow down, look more closely, and let every word speak for itself. If we expect human words to be handled with precision, God's words deserve no less. That perspective shaped LOVE Boutique. 

Is it suitable as a gift?

Absaposalutely!

In many ways, the entire book was designed to be a gift. It's my way of sharing the greatest gift I've ever received—the good news of Jesus Christ.

At its heart, LOVE Boutique points to the greatest gift ever offered: everlasting life, freely given to all who believe in Him.

If this book helps someone discover that gift, then it has accomplished exactly what I hoped it would.
